Technology

Our Technology Department works to ensure that students and educators have access to equipment and electronic devices necessary to enrich the educational experience.

The Technology Department is here to serve the needs of the students, teachers, and staff at DuBois ASD. Please email or call us with your requests or for technical assistance.

Skyward Family Access

Skyward provides parents with a way to monitor their children’s school experience. It provides access to grades, attendance, assignments, and even a teacher messaging system. We encourage you to set your notification preferences to “email alerts” so that you get a notification if your child misses class or if his/her grades falls below a certain level.

We email log-in instructions to all new district parents. If you did not receive an email, please contact your child’s school to verify that your email information is correct.

TechCare+

DASD offers an optional protection plan for student Chromebooks that may be purchased within 30 days of receiving your device. Information regarding the plan can be found on the TechCare+ Flyer

Please contact the Technology Department with any questions regarding TechCare+

Student Hotspots

Hotspots may be provided to students who are enrolled in our Virtual Academy and do not have internet access while not on school campus. To request a hotspot please complete the Hotspot Request Form or call (814) 299-4866. A parent/guardian must also complete a certification form when receiving the hotspot for their student.

Internet Use

We believe the Internet can provide teachers and students with a wealth of educational resources. Along with this great privilege, we feel a tremendous responsibility to teach our young people to be mindful as they use it. We expect all to be familiar with and accept our district’s policy for acceptable use of this technology.
